Featuring a Huge Mothers Day Doll Sale
Hi Bear Club Members,
 With Mothers Day just around the corner this months event would give our members the perfect opportunity to spoil Mum without breaking the bank.
At this time of year we normally hold a big doll sale as we know most mums can’t resist a beautiful porcelain doll.
This year is no exception, we did plan this event for mid April but as the extra long 5 day Easter Weekend holiday fell at the time we were going to have the sale we felt it prudent to postpone the event to next Tuesday 3rd May.
It will still be our April Members Event and we have a great night planned in store for members who can join us as we introduce a new and exciting range of Adora Dolls from America as well as lots of super special prices across all our existing brands of porcelain and high quality vinyl dolls with prices starting at only $24.95.
We will also be offering even bigger discounts of up to 72% off as we clear the very last designs from the fabulous Farrington Collection and have a nice pamper pack surprise valued at over $40 for mum as a FREE GIFT for every member purchasing any dolls during this event.

Although we endeavour to show members as much as we can in our newsletters and email presentations it is impossible for us to impart all the information that comes to us at these events, you really need to be here to get the best of this experience.
Members attending our event will get to meet famous doll designer and importer Mark Jones and hear him talk about the inspiration behind the latest Florence collection.
He will also be showcasing new designs from Kewpie Dolls, Artista, Marie Osmond and as promised the Australia launch of the new Adora collectable Dolls.
The Dolls of the World series is amazing with a very limited editions of as few as 200 pieces worldwide, all dressed in the fabulous traditional costumes of their countries like this little English Guardsman Thomas

The good, the bad and the cuddly!
LIMITED EDITION BEANIE KIDS ROYAL COUPLE

CHARLIE BEARS UPDATE!
 As promised by Charlie Bears we are now getting more regular deliveries with a new container arriving every 5-8 weeks.
Another big shipment has arrived today and as I write this news letter Jan, Troy and Marilyn are frantically unpacking, hugging and sorting all the bears as to which ones are needed to fill many of our members back orders.
After such a long trip it is important that all the teddies get a big hug and a fluff up so that when we send them home to you they are all happy and feeling loved.
We are today contacting all members who had bears arrive in this shipment so if you are still waiting on Charlie Bears and we have not contacted you then your bears were not in this shipment but are still on the way to us and we will advise you when they are in.
As well as being able to fill many members orders we also have a reasonable amount of new designs and returning favourites on the shelves for immediate delivery including some surprises.
I have moved all the newly arrived designs into the catalogue section for “Charlie Bears in stock now” which currently has 138 different Charlie Bear designs available for immediate delivery.

Whilst this large shipment goes a fair way to catching up on all the back orders for our members we are still expecting another 66 designs which are still outstanding in particular most of the new NON UK ISABELLE COLLECTION, hopefully they will arrive in the next shipment or two.
I have asked again for more details as to when particular designs are being produced but still have no definite answers,
we have been assured that all bears on orders will be supplied but patience is still the main ingredient to getting hold of these delightful Charlie Bear designs.
 CHERISHED TEDDIES SALE extended
Due to the huge success of our recent 5 day Easter Cherished Teddies Adoption Event and the large numbers of members contacting us asking if we could possibly extend the offer of the sale because they were away for the Easter Holidays we have decided to extent the sale until 4 pm on Sunday May 8th.
This will allow all members who missed the event to still grab some of this years best Cherished Teddies bargains in time for Mothers Day.

Mark Jones is a very talented designer man with a lot of flair and passion for the dolls he creates.
He has an extensive background in the doll market and has used this knowledge to help found his own design and import company.
Born in Wales in 1967 he moved to Australia as a child in 1972.
At only 18 years of age he started working for Cavanough Distributors as warehouse manager and sales representative. Cavanough were the old Hillview Lane Doll Company.
He gained extensive knowledge of dolls and was the company’s top sales person every year.
He moved to the soft toy giant Dakin Australia in 1992 as a sales rep, becoming National Sales Manager.
When Dakin bought out Hillview Lane, Marks experience and background with the dolls led him to product
development and started his design career.
For his 30th birthday Mark's parents lent him the money to start his own business importing his first container of dolls.
Mark Jones Designs came into being in 1997 and his first wholesale order received at the 1997 gift fair was for $19,500 of dolls.
The Florence brand name was a tribute to Mark's grandmother Florence who inspired a young Mark to indulge his flair and passion for design.
Mark even designed a doll from an early photograph of his grandmother.
His designs are now so popular that he has licensed them to quality international makers and has a steady flow of export orders.
Now only a short but hectic 15 years on Mark Jones designs are the leading importer of quality dolls into Australia and Mark is extremely proud to be attending this special members event to introduce his latest range the Fabulous Adora Dolls Collection - See the special feature on the Adora ranges at the end of this newsletter.

This Beautiful 64cm porcelain doll is a
“one off” prototype 1/1 that was designed by Mark Jones for the 2011 Florence Collection but did not end up going into production due to the number of other great new designs already scheduled.
She has not been named so we asked Mark to keep her limited edition Certificate “open” so that the lucky member who wins her can have the pleasure of naming her.
Dressed in this beautiful Satin & Lace Christening or Communion gown she would certainly delight and be a very special gift on any special occasion indeed!

Event information for new members:
- Teddies nights start at 7pm sharp and generally run till around 9pm but this depends on how much fun our members are having.
- It is essential to RSVP so that we can organise catering and gifts.
- Our TEDDIES on PARADE nights are young children free events so that you and other members can relax and enjoy the bears and the company.
- Well behaved teenagers are most welcome to attend.

- Your membership entitles you to a minimum of 5% off all regularly priced products that are not already reduced.
- All prices in our on-line catalogue are our normal retail prices and members discounts will be deducted from these retail prices.
- Discounts are not available for lay-bys as we incur additional costs in providing lay-by services.
