September 2011 Members Newsletter
Hi Bear Club Members,
This month we have changed the format of our monthly event “Teddies on Parade”.
Instead of our regular Tuesday evening get together we will be having a big 4 day promotion from Friday the 9th to Monday the 12th.
This change will be a trial run to see if longer hours are better suited to the majority of members who like to come to the events but have found the Tuesday night does not fit in with their busy schedule. Members will be able to visit the store any time over the four days and shop for the months featured specials and still enjoy the extra bonuses and gifts they would normally get on the Tuesday night events.
The major change for in-store members will be the regular product and information talks that we do at the Teddies on Parade nights but Troy and I are working on some new electronic presentation ideas that will benefit our internet members as well. We have just installed a big screen to showcase our presentations to members in-store and this will be supported by an on-line video for the members who cant come to the events in person.
Hopefully given enough hours in the day Troy and I will be working on several new projects over the next few months that we think members will find both entertaining and informative.

NEW POPE BEAR RELEASE
Hermann of Germany have released a seventh design in the now very popular Papal Series based around his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI
These highly collectable bears have been created to mark the highlights in the journey taken by his Holiness Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger since his appointment as the 265th Pope on 19th April 2005.
Hermann have now produced a new bear in the Papal Series to mark the 2nd official visit to his homeland in Germany this month. This edition is called “Masterpiece 2011” and is limited to only 111 pieces world-wide but due to it being a German exclusive release most of them will never leave Germany and will sell out very quickly.
As we are Hermann’s Largest Stockist in Australasia and we have carried the entire series of Papal bears they have allowed us a small allocation of the Exclusive German edition but you will need to be quick as we don’t have many available.
Like the previous bears in this collection this bear is made of the finest German mohair and filled with Excelsior (wood wool), he has a fine growler voice and as you can see is beautifully dressed.

30 NEW CHARLIE BEARS RELEASED New Charlie Bears are always exciting and the news today is that the long awaited and anticipated NON UK ISABELLE COLLECTION part 2 for 2011 has just been released. The latest designs are even more stunning than the first part of this release if that’s at all possible and the excitement around the world is already going viral as dedicated Charlie Bear fans rush to secure their favourites on pre-orders before they sell out.
As well as the Limited edition NON UK mohair collection that features 15 fantastic designs Charlie Bears have also released the 2011-2 Plush Collection which also features 15 new designs.
So be excited but please if you are pre-ordering any of these very desirable teddies BE PATIENT, they will take time to be produced and get to our shores, in fact you can expect delays on some designs of 6 months or more and we are never told in advance which designs will arrive when!. We are still waiting on some of the designs from Part 1 of this range released earlier this year.
Sadly or Gladly depending on your viewpoint there is a long wait to adopt any new Charlie Bear design as the 5 factories where these bears are lovingly handcrafted are struggling to keep up with the demand, but as our regular Charlie Collectors are well aware they always arrive eventually and are ALWAYS well worth the wait as these are simply the most fantastic and well priced collectable bears on the planet.
We are expecting a new shipment of plush range in the next week or so but please if you are waiting on any Charlie designs don’t take this update as an excuse to harass me over when your bears will arrive, once we confirm what bears are in this shipment we will contact everyone that has ordered any of the designs that come in.
