The World of Beatrix Potter
Beatrix Potter was born in London in 1866. During her rather lonely childhood, and later as a young woman, she studied art and Natural History. She acquired her love and knowledge of the countryside during family holidays, first in Scotland and then in the Lake District.
The tale of Peter Rabbit, published in 1902, was her first and most famous of all the little books. Today, her Tales sell in the millions, and are enjoyed by children and adults alike all over the world
Inspired by Beatrix Potter’s love of the British countryside, and the animals she illustrated, this product has been beautifully crafted with utmost care and attention, to create an authentic gift worthy of Beatrix Potter’s signature
