Ever since the Dean’s Rag Book Company Ltd was formed in London in 1903, it has been at the forefront of many developments in soft toys for children.
Today, different types of toys, electronic, computerized and others, tend to appeal to the youngsters, but it is with a degree of irony, that the toys developed by Deans over the years are now eagerly sought after as collectables by adults.
The number of products the Company has developed would fill a veritable tome.
This book is intended to give a flavour of the diversity of this stubborn survivor together with the details, wherever possible, of catalogue entries and label identification and is only a small portion of the various products produce.
The research and style of this book is very much the personal view of the current Managing Director, Neil Miller.
