HER BEARS ARE NORMALLY ONLY AVAILABLE FROM THE TEDDY SHOWS HOWEVER JENNY HAS NOW APPOINTED US HER NSW STOCKIST AND WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT SOME OF HER BEAUTIFUL BEARS, MANY OF THEM MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR NANA’S TEDDIES.

JENNY SAYS ABOUT HER WORK:

I have been designing bears now for 19 years and I haven’t lost the enjoyment of creating another little character from old antique looking little girl and boy bears, Gollies, Grizzly, Polar, Koalas and character bears. My bears are all made from top quality mohair and alpaca, all have glass eyes and are fully jointed. The clothing is all hand made from cotton lace and cotton fabrics. I also spend a lot of time sourcing antique lace, fabrics and any suitable accessories for my dressed bears.

I love old style bears and always Endeavour to make my own designs look old, well loved (a bit worn out) with tea dyed dresses and jackets. There has been many occasions when I have made a bear and it appeals to me that much that I cant part with it so it joins my vast collection.

My bears have found there way to collectors all over the world. I have won many awards over the years for best in show.

My husband is the proud designer and maker of most of the accessories, i.e. the miniature hat boxes, wooden trunks, metal cars, planes, etc which keeps them all original and totally Australian made.

I am always looking for new ideas so that my creations can continue to be collected and cherished for many years to come and hopefully passed down through the generations.
