Following the success and popularity of our first “Nana” bear designs made for our store by leading Australian bear artists Lexie Haworth and Jenny Round, Nana’s Teddies proudly announce the release of the 4th design in their series of exquisite “Nana” bears.
Nana Olive is the 4th bear in our Nana series and was designed by Nana’s Teddies Owner Dave Robertson in conjunction with Britains’ oldest bear makers, the famous Deans of England who have hand made her exclusively for us.
Nana Olive is a 35cm fully jointed bear, handmade of quality German tipped mohair which has a silky soft feel adding to the delicate look and appeal of this beautiful collectable bear.
The mohair used was carefully selected for its feel and texture, it is a very pretty salmon pink shade delicately tipped in a darker shade of dusky pink. The results are quite pleasing with Olive having the appearance of a kindly old grandmother.
She has a hand stitched nose and her paw pads are done in a contrasting suedette.
She is accessorised with a simple string of simulated pearls around her neck which compliment the satin flower with a simulated pearl centre that she wears in her hair.
Only 30 Nana Olive bears will ever be created, and as the Nana’s Teddies name continues to grow and gain the respect of bear collectors globally these limited edition designs commissioned exclusively by us will in time become valuable sought after collectables.
Nana Olive comes with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity detailing her exclusive Nana’s Teddies heritage and a Dean’s original enamel badge.
